"Lake Arthur Camp Meeting" calls to mind lifelong memories for many people. The interdenominational association has a long and important history of proclaiming God's word in Southwest Louisiana at its picturesque grounds. The annual Lake Arthur Camp Meeting, a 113+ year-old gathering, is held for nine days each summer on the grounds of the Association in Lake Arthur, Louisiana. Adding to the facilities belonging to the group are cabins owned by individual members. In addition to the annual camp, many denominational and individual groups rent the facilities for meetings. It is a family oriented place.
